Vivek Kundra views cloud computing as a fundamental opportunity to remake Information Technology infrastructures within and between U.S. government bodies. Vivek Kundra operates to make wise use of the Information Technology budget under his command and to use taxpayer money wisely.
Ben Barnes is an American lobbyist and politician. He once functioned as the Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives and was the Lieutenant Governor of Texas. Former Lt. Gov. of Texas Ben Barnes participated in the John Kerry campaign where he served as the vice-chair. He was the top fund-raiser for the said campaign and was one of eight persons who raised about $500,000 US dollars for John Kerry.
Former Lt. Gov. of Texas Ben Barnes, named “Benny Frank Barnes,” was born on April 17, 1938 in Gorman, Texas. His parents were B.F. Barnes and Ina B. Carrigan who had another son (Rick Barnes) 21 months after he was born. In 1956, Ben Barnes graduated from DeLeon High School. After he graduated in high school, he entered the Texas Christian University in Fort Worth for one semester. He then transferred for another semester at Tarleton College. During that spring, Former Lt. Gov. of Texas Ben Barnes married his girlfriend Martha Morgan. At the age of 20, Ben Barnes entered the University of Texas at Austin.
Ben Barnes is currently married to his third wife Melanie. The couple lives in Austin, Texas with their two daughters Blaire and Elena, who they adopted from Russian and Romanian parents, respectively. Barnes has children from his first marriage with Martha, a son and a daughter. The former Lieutenant Governor of Texas is now a grandfather to four grandchildren
