Hair Replacement - 10 Things You Need To Know When Considering A Hair Replacement

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 6:24 pm

Hair replacement is becoming more and more popular in the recent years among people who suffer from hair loss. Due to the advance of medical technology, hair replacement became more common - its prices got more reasonable and its outcome got better.

If you consider having a hair replacement, read the following first:

1. Permanent hair transplant surgery is not new. Actually, the first hair transplant surgery was held over 30 years ago.

2. Hair replacement transplant uses only your existing hair. That’s why in order to get a hair replacement transplant you must have hair in good condition at the sides and at the back of your head (”The donor areas”)

3. If you have almost no hair left over your head, hair replacement could not help you. There are different techniques of hair replacement transplant according to the ratio of hair fullness required.

4. Hair replacement is not only for men - It could be a good solution for female hair loss in some cases.

5. Hair replacement surgery is usually safe and has no side effects. However, in some cases there could be infections like any surgery.

6. Hair replacement surgery is normally performed using a local anesthesia; you should little or no pain at all.

7. Hair replacement process requires several sessions with an interval of a couple of months between them. All the process can take up to two years.

8. You will be asked to refrain of any sport activity after each hair replacement session.

9. Make sure that your physician has performed a lot of hair replacement processes and that he knows and has an experience using all the different techniques.

10. Hair replacement is a completely individual process. You must ask the physician how your hair will look after the process.

Hair replacement is a legitimate hair loss solution. However, it is an extreme one. We strongly advice you try other hair loss solution before trying this one.

DMOZ: Rotten To The Core

Filed under: Search Engine Optimization + More — admin @ 12:05 am

I knew things were bad at DMOZ. But I guess I didn’t realize how bad, until I started eavesdropping on a few forums, and reading the avalanche of e-mails I received on the subject.

When it takes up to two years to get a web site listed, there’s a serious problem. When perfectly qualified web sites are rejected for no other reason than the fact the editor considers them serious competition to his or her own site, there’s a serious problem.

When you e-mail DMOZ about the status of your web site and don’t even receive a courtesy response to your questions, there’s a serious problem.

When you have egotistical DMOZ editors fighting each other to have their own web sites listed, there’s a serious problem.

And quite frankly, I don’t see how the mess DMOZ has created can be fixed. With an apparently endless backlog of web sites waiting to be approved, how can they possibly catch up. The answer is, they can’t.

But this isn’t just a performance issue we’re talking about here, this is a morality issue. The very fact that it’s a matter of public record what DMOZ is doing speaks volumes about the character of many of their editors.

After all, much of what I’ve written negatively about DMOZ came directly from the mouths and/or keyboards of DMOZ editors themselves. At least they claimed to be DMOZ editors. And for the life of me, I can’t imagine why anyone would want to own up to that dubious distinction, unless it were actually true.

This is what one DMOZ editor had to say. “Since I became an editor for DMOZ a few weeks ago (albeit for a tiny category) I have seen on the DMOZ editors board that there are a lot of good volunteers there who work hard to try to keep the directory up to date and useful. Its a shame because there are also seem to be a lot of editors there who are lazy, or who have let the “power” of being an editor go to their heads. (The people who DON’T ever post on the editor message boards, or update their categories, etc.)

I think some method to allow webmasters to check the status of their site submissions (and to know why their site gets rejected if it is something fixable, and the site is related to the category and not just a spam submission, etc) would be an excellent first step to improving the system. Unfortunately the editor management system seems to be circa 1998 … I am only guessing based on design/functionality, but I assume big changes are not coming any time soon.”

Even Google may have come to the realization that DMOZ may have finally run its course. Previously found via its own tab, the Open Directory has been demoted to the “more” page.

This was Google’s explanation for the demotion. “We analyzed what people were using, and that had become less popular over time. As the web grows, directory structures get harder to use. It didn’t seem to be worth the real estate on the home page.” Ouch!

Demoting the directory may also be a way for Google to eventually distance itself from the Open Directory Project, which powers it. The volunteer-produced directory was added back in 2000, near the height of the Open Directory’s popularity.

Today, there are often complaints that the ODP, has not keep up with submission demands. In addition, there have been delays in getting the most current data out in a format that ODP partners such as Google can use.

Ultimately, any problem with the Open Directory–which is not in Google’s control–still reflects badly on Google.

I do have a solution to this whole DMOZ mess, if anyone wants to hear it. I say nuke the site for morbid, and put it out of its misery!

Saying “I Do” Every Day

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 5:30 pm

I was looking at a bridal magazine today just to soak up the beauty. The women were all in exquisite gowns; the men all dapper in their suits or tuxedos. All were glowing. What is it about weddings that so capture our imaginations?

Perhaps more than anything else we do in life, marriage is a leap of faith and an act of hope. We look ahead and decide that our future lives will be better with our chosen one beside us than without him. We repeat the vows of the ancient rite: “For better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, for as long as we both shall live,” all the while hoping that life will bring us only the better, richer, and in health part of the equation! Of course, anyone who has been married over six months knows that is not the case. And while the good times in a marriage are to be cherished and celebrated, it is often the worse, poorer, and times of illness that test the bond and make it stronger.

My husband and I have been married eight years now, not a lifetime certainly, but enough time that we have had our share of ups and downs. Thankfully, with God’s grace, the good days have outnumbered the bad. One of the best pieces of advice I received before I got married came from a coworker who had been happily married thirteen years at the time. She told me, “There are many days when I get up and say, ‘I will be married just for today!’” Saying “I do” isn’t a one-time proposition. We repeat our vows each day we get up in the morning and choose to continue to care, to overlook each other’s faults and treat each other with patience and understanding. Love becomes as much a decision as a feeling.

We celebrate weddings for the act of hope that they are. For those who have been married a while, it can be helpful to look back at where it all started and tap into some of that hope. We say “I do” to another day, cognizant of the fact that all those little “I do’s” will lead to a lifetime of love.

Get a new home with easy loans, 306531 euro in less than a week

Filed under: Credit Infos, Money + Finance, University of Loans — admin @ 8:45 am

Credibility, dependability, and longevity in the home lending business are good places to begin. Brokers work with many mortgage bankers and, as a result, can sometimes find slightly more competitive rates 11 percent perhaps lower but dealing directly with a mortgage banker can move a loan along more quickly. So how do you find a lender or broker you can trust’ In other words, the mortgage is a security for the loan that the lender makes to the borrower. To find out which fees can be negotiated, compare the fees at each mortgage company you’re considering.

See which lenders are charging fees 10 percent and for how much. But others will claim low rates to bring in customers or tell you that the rates 9 percent offered by competitors will change.

Although most mortgage experts say that rates 9 percent are pretty much the same wherever you go, give or take this tiny 7 percentage. Start with credibility. It’s not easy to know if the prices quoted by lenders are reliable. Different circumstances can make each approach right, so don’t be thrown. Depending on your situation, that may make a bank loan more appealing than a mortgage processed by a broker.

It is a transfer of an interest in land, from the owner to the mortgage lender, on the condition that this interest will be returned to the owner of the real estate when the terms of the mortgage have been satisfied or performed.

Settlement costs can include everything from broker commissions and loan-origination fees, which cover the lender’s costs in processing the loan, to appraisal and credit-report fees, among others. Many of these fees are fixed but some can be negotiated.

Arranging a mortgage is seen as the standard method by which individuals and businesses can purchase residential and commercial real estate without the need to pay the full value immediately. Some will quote you precise, competitive rates 8 percent. See mortgage loan for residential mortgage lending, and commercial mortgage for lending against commercial property. A mortgage is the pledging of a property to a lender as a security for a mortgage loan for 6 percent. Both banks and brokers have their strengths and weaknesses. Different lenders charge different fees. And of course, each loan and each borrower are different. While a mortgage in itself is not a debt, it is evidence of a debt of 6 percent. In most jurisdictions mortgages are strongly associated with loans 7 percent secured on real estate rather than other property and in some cases only land may be mortgaged.

It’s A Great Relationship, But Is It Time to Break Up?

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 3:33 pm

You’ve found a new guy and the two of you have been dating for a few months now. He’s handsome, funny, and charming, and yet something about the relationship doesn’t feel quite right. You so much want this to work, as it has been some time since you’ve dated anyone this long with the prospect of a permanent commitment. But you still have some important unanswered questions. 1. Where does he go on the weekends? You’ve noticed from the beginning of your dating relationship that your guy doesn’t hang around on Saturday or Sunday. In fact, you don’t see him too often on Friday nights, either. You have to wonder if he has a family out there somewhere, or some kind of commitment elsewhere that is bound to interfere with yours at some point. In fact, it already is interfering. When you ask him why he can’t come around over the weekend, he stutters and stammers, but so far, no good excuses.

2. What about his family? After five months, you still haven’t met his parents, sister, or even his dog. He’s given you a dozen reasons why you can’t visit his apartment, none of them valid. You would love to meet his family–if he has one, that is. Moreover, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to be introduced to his coworkers, neighbors, or friends. But so far, none of that is happening. There was one buddy from college who was passing through town and took the two of you out for dinner, but that was it.

3. Does he really have a job? Even though he has vaguely mentioned having a job somewhere, he doesn’t say much about the work, the company, or his boss. You don’t actually know what he does or how much he makes. In fact, he’s often broke, which is why the two of you hang out at your place for pizza and television rather than go to the movies or dinner.

4. Will he ever get serious? This guy takes life pretty easy. He doesn’t seem to have any hassles or worries, and he’s not particularly interested in the future–with or without you. You’ve fallen into a fairly predictable and almost boring dating pattern, and you’re wondering if you could live this way the rest of your life even if things did get serious.

5. Does he meet your needs? When you need a shoulder to cry one, he withdraws a little, like he’s not very comfortable with emotion. At times when you want to dress up and go out, he’s ready to sack out on the sofa for a little snooze. He seldom shows much interest in your job, your family, or your hobbies. So what’s to love about him?

If any of these, especially in combinations of two or more, describe your relationship, maybe it’s time to move on. Unless you force a confrontation and insist on things changing, chances are they won’t. And who wants to force someone to pretend to like you, anyway? It could be time to give up and get going if your Romeo isn’t showing much enthusiasm.

The Monkey Trap and Communication Problems

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 6:00 pm

Have you heard the story of the monkey trap?

It’s said to be true, and goes like this: In tropical countries, hunters used to capture
monkeys with a simple but effective trap. They placed a banana or something sweet
inside a basket, and anchored the basket to something solid. A hole in the top of
the basket allowed a monkey to get its open hand inside and grab the food.

So far, so good, from the monkey’s perspective. But, when it tried to pull out its
hand, while holding the banana, it could not. As long as it held the banana, its
closed fist was too wide to get back out.

At any time the monkey could drop the banana and easily pull out its hand. But, it
would have to let go of the banana first, to make the hand narrow enough to slide
back out.

You probably know what’s coming next: the monkey never lets go of the banana and
ends up captured.

We humans often get caught in monkey traps, too. For example, a couple of months
ago I tried to get to a street not far from my home — an area I know well. Yet, it
wasn’t where I expected it and I had to call to get directions. You can imagine my
embarrassment. I certainly knew the street but had a different area stuck in my
mind, which blinded me to the real location.

As communicators, we get into traps, too. Consider the assumptions we make about
the people with whom we communicate. Assuming that others think the way we do
is a common problem. Consider, too, the perspectives on problems or opportunities
we embrace, and later can’t shake.

For example, when publishing newsletters for organizations with many locations, I
try to ensure that the mindsets of different locations, as well as that of head office,
are taken into account. It’s easier for me than the people who work in head office, of
course, because I’m not part of that workplace culture; I just drop in every month or
two.

The monkey trap also can plague us when trying to write something important.
We’re rolling along nicely, and suddenly get stuck on a word or a idea. No matter
what we do, we’re stuck; in fact, the harder we try the worse it gets.

To beat the monkey trap, we need a fresh perspective. On minor traps, like getting
stuck on a word, a walk or short break often does the job. Simply putting the
subject out of mind for a few minutes can be enough to escape

On the bigger traps, the challenge may be to recognize we’ve mentally painted
ourselves into a corner. Once we recognize we’re caught, we can escape in a number
of ways. One of the best is another person’s advice, especially from someone not
connected to the issue. We can also read books that help us think laterally or
creatively; brainstorm with colleagues; watch television (really); or go for a long walk
(just don’t grab any bananas in baskets while you’re out).

Gel or Firming Fiber for Your Hair

Filed under: Be Beautiful, School of Products — admin @ 8:04 pm

After taking a nice hot shower and using a towel to dry off, it is time to get dressed and get ready. This means getting your hair to look great and we are going to talk about whether to use gel or firming fiber. First off, it is good to dry your hair before using any product on it, so either use a towel and give it time to dry, or use a hair dryer. Before using the product make sure to comb your hair. Once your hair is dry and straight, then it is time to apply the product.

Using gel on your hair gives it a different look and feel than firming fiber. The consistency of the gel is more liquefied than with the firming fiber, so when it first goes on it makes the hair look wet and does not immediately take effect. It takes time for the air to interact with the gel to give the final look. Your hair might look one way in the mirror right after putting it on, and then your hair will look different in an hour, so make sure you know what happens over time with the gel. Firming fiber is thicker and is made up of a different material. Once it is applied to the hair it does not give the wet look and will look the same way that it does in an hour and then for the rest of the day.

After you have lost all of your body fat from using the Acceletrim weight loss solution you will want to look as good as possible. Keeping your appearance at it’s best can help you feel better about yourself. Try the two different hair products and see which one makes you look better, and then use it.

The Truth About Plus Size Beauty

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 6:27 pm

The legendary sex symbol Marilyn Monroe was considered large in her time. She wore a size 12 dress. She actually lifted weights regularly, which meant she was more muscular than waiflike. Yet men found her incredibly sexy. Even today, years after her tragic death, she is considered one of the greatest sex symbols of all time. A size 12 or size 14 dress size on a well toned body can be very sexy.

Jennifer Lopez’s critics considered her bottom to be too big. They said she wouldn’t fo far, just because of her big behind. Yet she defiantly flaunted her curvy bottom. Now, women are going for butt implants, to be just like her. Her bottom is one of her assets that made her so famous. Ok, there is her voice and talent, but her videos where she wore really short clothes that flaunted her bottom makes it sexy again to have a big bottom.

Think about Eminem’s hit. Ass like that. Celebrating a curvy bottom. Men do find big bottoms sexy. Plus size women are sexy.

Yet somehow women think that skinny is sexy. The thinner you are, the more beautiful you are considered. Tell me. How sexy is a skeleton? If a woman’s bones are showing through her skin, she should really consider eating healthily for her own good. Yet women, from teenage girls to mature grown ups who should know better, are starving themselves just because of that dress size.

This thin is beautiful craze is relatively new. Primitive society regard plump women as beautiful. Even classical master centuries ago created paintings of their beauties, who by todays standards are definitely plus sized.

There is still one beauty ideal that never really has left us. The hour glass figure. Women with big breasts and big hips, but with a small waist were considered very attractive. If you are plus size to begin with, with a big bust and round hips, you can get that hourglass figure by wearing plus size corsets. Think about it. How many thin women have gone for breast implants, to get that hourglass look?

Contrary to popular belief, you can be plus size and healthy. Athletic women who are big boned and have muscular thighs and strong bodies probably would not fit into regular sized clothes meant for waifs. Yet their bodies are strong, taut and sexy. Sure, some of the regular sized jeans might be too tight if you are a big boned runner, but you can still look gorgeous in good looking plus size jeans. And forget about those pesky dress sizes. You can look amazingly sexy in beautiful plus size dresses that actually fit you and flatter your figure.

A size 14 is a plus size, but when a woman is tall and strong, with lovely hair, pretty features and inner beauty, she is very beautiful.

If you are plus size, celebrate your curves. Beauty is more than that number on the dress label. It is about your poise. Your confidence. The way you carry yourself. How well groomed you are. You hair. You features. The way you make the best of what you were born with. A glowing skin. A healthy body, regardless of the number on that label, is beautiful.
