The reason so many of us hate shopping for plus size bathing suits is because we often don’t know what style is the best for our figure. It’s easy to pick the same unflattering style year after year. But, why not take a risk, and explore some new styles in plus size bathing suits? Let’s review the most common figure complaints and find the most flattering styles.
Wide Hips, Big Thighs
This is probably the most common figure problem, but it can easily be camouflaged with the right suit. Look for one or two piece plus size bathing suits with high cut bottoms that will give the appearance of longer legs. If you are not comfortable with this much exposure, try a flirty swim skirt or sarong to cover the area. Avoid, at all costs, boy cut shorts. They can make your hips and thighs appear even larger and wider.
Tummy Bulge
Who doesn’t have this problem? One-piece styles with shirring can mask an ample tummy. Suits with deep, plunging necklines will draw the eye upwards and away from the bulge. Stay away from skimpy bikinis and low-rise bottoms.
Busty
Do you have too much of a good thing? Yes, cleavage can look great, but you don’t want to be falling out of your suit. Look for swimwear with built-in underwire bras, or halter tops for extra support. Don’t reach for that string bikini, unless you want your fellow beachgoers to get an eyeful of you.
Small Bust
Find a suit that has foam padding and underwire uplift. Bright prints and ruffles around the neckline can help hide a less than ample bust.
Short Torso
Bathing suits with deep v-necks can elongate the body. Boy cut or board shorts that sit low on the hips can add length, as well. Stay away from high cut bottoms that can make your body appear even shorter.
Long Torso
Try a one-piece suit with high cut legs. You can break up the long vertical lines with a tankini that exposes a bit of midriff.
Now that you have a better idea of what will work with your body type, go ahead and try on a few new styles. Experiment with color and pattern, as well. It is not written anywhere that full figured women have to wear boring bathing suits. You might just find a flattering new look that is just right for you.

What is Placenta Previa?
Placenta previa literally means afterbirth first. It is a condition in which the placenta - the flapjack-shaped organ that supplies the fetus with nutrients through the umbilical cord - implants itself unusually low in the uterus, next to or covering your cervix.
If the placenta completely covers the cervical opening it is known as a complete or total placenta previa. If it only partially covers the opening, it is known as a partial placenta previa. If it is within two centimeters of the cervix but not covering it, the condition is known as a marginal placenta previa.
What causes this condition?
Placenta previa happens when an embryo implants itself in the lower uterus. Then, when the placenta grows, it may partially or completely cover the cervical opening.
Is placenta previa serious?
Placenta previa discovered early in pregnancy is not yet cause for alarm. More often than not, the placenta will fix itself, “migrating” away from the cervix. In actuality, the placenta is attached to the uterus and does not move. But as the uterus grows, the placenta may end up farther from your cervix. In addition, the placenta itself has a general tendency to grow toward the richer blood supply at the top of the uterus.
In fact, only about 10% of women diagnosed with placenta previa at mid-pregnancy still have it when their time comes to deliver. Unfortunately, a total placenta previa is less likely to resolve itself than a marginal or low-lying placenta.
What if the condition persists?
Even if you have placenta previa later in pregnancy, it may still move away from the cervical opening. You will need to have a follow-up ultrasound early in your third trimester to check on the condition of the placenta. You may need an examination sooner if you experience any vaginal bleeding.
If your placenta previa persists, you will need to be very careful. You should have regular ultrasounds and be wary of vaginal bleeding. Your doctor will tell you to avoid and strenuous activities and heavy lifting and avoid having sex for the rest of your pregnancy.
Bleeding?
Bleeding from placenta previa can range from spotting to extremely heavy. This happens when the cervix begins to dilate. It is usually painless and starts without warning. Depending on the severity of the bleeding, you may need to deliver your baby immediately and may also need a blood transfusion.
If you begin bleeding or having contractions, you will have to be hospitalized. Depending on the amount of bleeding, the health of you and the baby, and how far along you are in your pregnancy, the baby may need to be delivered by c-section immediately.
If the bleeding stops and everything is ok, you will likely be sent home. But if the bleeding starts again, you will have to return to the hospital immediately.
What about the delivery?
If you still have placenta previa when you are ready to deliver, you will need to have a c-section. Unfortunately having placenta previa may increase your risk for other complications. For instance, you may be at risk of heavy bleeding during and after delivery. Once the baby is delivered the placenta will be delivered and you will be given medications that will cause your uterus to contract. This helps to stop the bleeding from the area of the uterus where the placenta was implanted.
Unfortunately, women who have placenta previa are also more likely to have placenta accrete, a condition where the placenta is implanted too deeply and does not separate easily at delivery. Although placenta accrete only occurs in about one out of 2,500 births overall, your chances of developing this problem are one out of ten if you still have placenta previa when the time comes to deliver. This may cause severe bleeding and a blood transfusion and hysterectomy may be necessary to stop the bleeding.
Who’s at risk for placenta previa?
For most women, there are no apparent warning signs, but if any of the following risk factors apply to you, your chances may be increased.
* You have had placenta previa in an earlier pregnancy
* You’ve had previous c-sections
* You’re having a multiple pregnancy
* You’ve had uterine surgery
* You are a cigarette smoker
* You use cocaine
As always, if you ever notice any bleeding or pains in your abdomen, call your doctor right away.

Heard about the Child Trust Fund? remarkably few seem to be aware of the fact that all newborn children are given a free £250 voucher from the State to place in a Child Trust Fund. Your son or daughter’s voucher can be invested in any one of three sorts of CTF account, Stakeholder - a shares-based account thatswitches into cash, a savings account or a shares account. It is an excellent way to prepare for the future needs of a child
Scottish Friendly is a licensed provider of the Child Trust Fund The Government is eager for people to have access to Stakeholder accounts and this is the sort of account that we are offering. This means that:
Investments are saved into Scottish Friendly’s Managed Growth Fund, which intends to provide strong growth potential
It invests in part in shares to make the most of potentially higher returns over 18 years, compared to a cash deposit account (although the value of shares can
decrease as well as go up whereas capital would be protected in a deposit account)
It is available with a low ‘Stakeholder’ funds charge of only 1.5 percent every year
At age 18 the young person will get a lump sum, totally free of Capital Gains and Income Tax under prevailing law
It is affordable - extra payments can be put in the account from as little as £10
An attractive feature of the Child Trust Fund is that anyone - parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, friends - may add to the Fund to an uppermost limit of £1,200 per year to help augment the child’s Fund (once added, this money cannot be withdrawn).
Put succinctly our Stakeholder account offers a good balance between possible high returns and a reduced level of risk. There’s also the additional assurance that our account meets with the Government’s stakeholder criteria. Nonetheless this does not mean that returns are assured or that Stakeholder accounts are suitable for everyone. Bear in mind that the value of shares in the Managed Growth Fund (where your Child Trust Fund money is invested) can decrease as well as rise and would not be guaranteed.
Only infants born on or after 1st September 2002 are permitted to start up a Child Trust Fund. If you have older kids born before the 1st of September 2002 who are not qualified you could contemplate saving for them with a Child Bond - it’s a tax-free savings plan intended for long-term growth.
It is undoubtedly the case that investing for your son is a sound means of preparing for tomorrow.

Gratitude is transformative. When you’re grateful for your blessings, you’re happy. You’re radiant. You attract men, loyal friends, and good jobs. You lure birds from the trees.
But there is definitely such a thing as being too grateful.
Here’s an example: A woman (let’s call her Audrey) starts dating a guy (let’s call him Doug). Doug is by far the most handsome guy she’s ever dated. In fact, he’s the first guy she’s dated in quite some time. She can’t believe her good fortune because, in the looks-oriented world we live in, Audrey has been told she’s lacking. She figures she hit the jackpot with Doug.
Her friends can’t believe her luck. Heck, her own parents can’t believe her luck.
And Doug is really, really nice. He’s nice to Audrey about 85% of the time. Sure, he asks to borrow her car a lot. He doesn’t always show up when he says he will. He goes out with the boys more often than he does with her. She’s caught him in a couple of lies.
But so what! Who cares if sometimes he’s a bad boy? Most of the time, he’s great. Doug makes Audrey feel special (most of the time). He makes her feel beautiful (most of the time). Hey, he’s a guy, and he’s good looking. She’s just grateful she has a boyfriend.
There are too far many women like Audrey on this planet, and they send me the saddest letters. They get taken for a ride (sometimes in their own cars), and eventually end up picking themselves out of a ditch while Prince Charming moves on to his next victim.
I personally know two guys who consistently date Audreys precisely because they’re “grateful.” I firmly believe the world is full of wonderful men, but there exists a certain breed of loser who target women that suffer from poor self-images. The goal is to take such women for all they’re worth.
Beware.
If your self-image isn’t great, you must postpone dating until it is. Stay home, for Pete’s sake! Changing your beliefs about yourself should be your sole aim. You simply cannot attract a good man until you do.

Everyone has that one color they favor. Whether it is your preferred color that has been your favorite since you were little or just a color that looks fabulous with your hair color and skin tone, consider creating this shade your signature. Whatever the color, make sure that it looks well with your skin tone, eye color, and hair color before you make the decision to call this particular hue your signature color. No one wants a signature color you are unable to wear due to it clashing with your natural appearance. Also, know when you limit using your signature color, because it can quickly turn from clever and classy to quirky and tacky. It is not necessary for you to dress head to toe in your signature color. Instead, consider using your signature color in the following ways:
Creating your signature
Once you have determined what color will be used as your signature, work to incorporate this color into your wardrobe. Again, not everything in your closet needs to be of your specific signature hue. Consider using this color as an accent to the neutral tones that should dominate your closet, including black, white, ivory, brown, gray, and navy. Use your signature color in unique pops in all aspect of your wardrobe and your surroundings.
Use your signature color in your home to express your real self
In addition to using your signature color to accentuate your wardrobe, also use this favored color to accentuate you home. Whether you paint an accent wall in this great hue, choose a rug with your favorite color, use decorator pillows in your shade of choice, or incorporate towels of this color into your design, your signature color can work in your home the same way it can work in your wardrobe.
Accentuate with accessories - Accessorizing with personal flair
Consider using your signature color in a few poignant accessories incorporated into your wardrobe. Consider purchasing a brooch or faux flower corsage in your favorite shade to affix to your jacket lapel, sweater, or shirt. Look into purchasing a fantastic pair of shoes in your signature color as a unique pop that will benefit any wardrobe. Look to include a killer purse in your favorite hue that is sure to complement any item in your closet. Furthermore, use a scarf with your signature color or choose to incorporate a pretty ribbon into your hairstyle, serve as a belt, or even be used as a choker!

There is a lot of misconception and a whole whack of false “claims” regarding women and weight training. The most common question that nearly every women has asked before hitting the weight room is “will I gain huge muscles like Arnold Swatrtzenegger?” - Well, let me put it to you in the simplest way possible - No! There is absolutely no way, humanly possible to look anything like seven time Mr Olympia by simply lifting a few weights - even if you’re lifting more than the average girl next door.
Human biology makes it virtually impossible for a woman’s body to react to weight training in the same way as it would for a man. Science on the other hand, well that’s a different story all together, but we’ll touch bases with that a little later.
A woman’s body contains high levels of estrogen, whilst men are genetically gifted with the muscle building substance, Testosterone. Although women do posses some level of testosterone (about one-tenth compared to men), with the presence of estrogen being much higher, building massive muscles is highly unlikely. You will no doubt, gain muscle by training hard and following a clean eating plan, irrespective of your gender, but the amount of muscle you stack on is nothing compared to that image stuck in your imagination. So don’t worry about a muscle-induced freak taking over your body - it ain’t going to happen, unless of course, that’s your goal.
With more and more female athletes moving into the professional bodybuilding arena, further misconceptions are created regarding weights and the muscle building process. The average woman believes that if she were to weight train, she would make huge gains and look like those girls they see in muscle magazines. Not only are those professional athletes genetically gifted, but they are also, well, professionals. They eat, sleep, and live their training and diet routines. They work hard, are extremely dedicated and above all, know and understand their bodies well enough to know what measures need to be taken to achieve their goals.
It takes a lot more than a few weight-training sessions and a couple of protein shakes to gain muscles and look anything like a bodybuilder. Professional bodybuilders have not only spent years and years perfecting their shape but, to be blatantly honest, many of the elite group use chemical performance drugs. These substances help them to fill in their genetic imbalance gaps, and assist them with building a more solid, defined physique.
Not forgetting of course, the athletes you see gracing the pages of muscle magazines have undergone major cutting diets and extremely discipline pre contest weeks to achieve that chiselled, super cut look. On an average day, off-season, these athletes look nothing like their photographs.
Now back to the topic at hand - Ladies with muscle not only look great, but they are much healthier than those who are skinny with little or no muscle definition at all. Muscle not only fills your body with tone and definition, but the more you have, the easier it becomes to lose fat. I bet I have your attention now?
Muscle is an fascinating instrument of human biology - as it builds, it requires more fuel, so it speeds up your metabolism - the faster your metabolism, the faster your body buns calories, even at rest. Which means that you will continue to burn calories even while you’re sitting on the couch watching Days of our Lives.
So, who said being a couch potato was so bad after all? Just remember you’ve first got to get that ass into the gym and pump those muscles before taking a time out in front of the tube.

Over the last 4 years a new type of hair straightening has crept into the USA. Called Japanese hair straightening it also falls under other names including; Thermal Reconditioning, Magic Straight, Bio Ionic Straightening, Yuko System (named after the Japanese stylist who is meant to have popularised the treatment), Liscio, and Rebonding. The Liscio process is the original and the one you are most likely to see in salons. As the name suggests it originated in Japan and the process will give you permanently straight hair as opposed to the temporary straight hair provided by in-home straighteners like the excellent Sedu flat iron. In reality it lasts about 6 months when your hair will need re-touching because of the hair growth.
This form of treatment is not recommended for:
more delicate African hair
air that has been heavily treated or damaged
air that is quickly thinning and falling out
The treatment is very expensive, $300-$800 in top salons and depending on which process you opt for can take between 4-6 hours to complete. This is a far cry from using your own hair straightener at home for a fraction of the cost and only taking a matter of minutes. Given the cost you should expect a free consultation on how well (or if) the treatment will work on your hair.
As the treatment is very expensive you should do your homework. Here are a few tips:
Visit the websites of salons close to you for more details about which Japanese hair straightening treatment they use. Visit the salon and speak with their straightening specialist about the process.
Make sure the specialist has sufficient experience in the process. Don’t forget you are paying lots of money so you don’t want to end up with damaged hair because of an inexperienced stylist.
Ask for some “before and after” pictures of previous customers results.
If possible ask to speak with a previous customer to get some detailed insight into how long it took and to find out if there are any things they didn’t like about the process.
If you do decide to go ahead with the treatment then here is a summary of the whole process.
A protein conditioner is applied to your hair.
A cream based thio relaxor is then applied. This will soften your hair and disassociate the sulfur bonds inside the hair shaft. After a period of time the stylist will do a test to see if the hair has broken down to the right degree.
Once the proper amount of Sulfur bonds have been disassociated the stylist will rinse your hair.
Your hair is dried into the style you normally wear it in.
The stylist will take small sections and apply some degree of tension to get your hair as straight as possible.
Once the neutralizer has been on the hair for the proper amount of time it will be rinsed from the hair.
After the hair is rinsed it will be dried again and ironed into the style you wish to wear.
The neutralizing chemical only begins to re-associate the sulfur bonds. The hair still needs to absorb more oxygen and will do so naturally through the air.
The hair designer will instruct you not to shampoo, wet or style your hair for 24-72 hours, this is to allow it to completely neutralize into the current shape.
The results from the process are amazing, considering your hair is subjected to nearly 6 hours of chemical and heat treatment. You will probably be advised to use special after care products. You should take the stylists advice but make sure and shop round for the products online, as they can be very expensive in salons.
However, all the time and effort is worth it, as your hair will not need to be treated for at least 6 months. So twice a year should be enough for curl free hair all year.

Wedding accessories are so important when it comes down to adding the finishing touches to the bridal attire. If you think the bridal look is complete without wedding accessories then I urge you to think again. Wedding gowns need garnishing with elegance and this is achieved by choosing the right essential wedding accessories.
Wedding veils
Watch how the veil sets the scene and speaks volumes as it is nurtured onto the head expelling radiance and beauty. An amazing transformation transpires for the bride once the veil is positioned Design/style of your chosen gown will help you decide on what veil is best suitable. Traditional veils normally measure approx three and half yards long, in saying that remember this is your day and if you want your veil trailing along the floor then so be it.
Shoes & stockings
Crucial elements are shoes/stockings for the overall look on your wedding day. Before deciding on a pretty shoe because it looks good be sure to try it for comfort as you will be wearing them for the best part of the day. Shoes made of velvet, satin or silk are materials which once again are a common choice made by brides.
Jewelry Aside from the wedding band/ring consider Jewelry pieces like Grace Kelly pearl peepers with a matching string of pearls to compliment the gown, Jewelry selections as such just oozes and injects elegance, in fact adding glamour in a tasteful feminine way.
Headpieces
Diamante headbands and Juliet caps are generally used to hold the wedding veil in place. All brides’ requirements have been catered for when looking for essential accessories in bridal shops from plain to bling bling. Crystals/pearls hold strong in a brides mind therefore dominating her way of thinking on designs and styles for her wedding gown and accessories.
Star attraction headpieces has to be the tiara all of a shimmer and glimmer.
Gloves
Another accessory that must not to be ignored especially if the wedding gown is off the shoulder/sleeveless, is gloves. Word has it the shorter the sleeve the longer the glove. Gloves simply conjure up an air of sophistication to any bridal outfit.
Wedding accessories are just as important as your gown so the right choice has to be made to look a million dollars
An honest friend is the best companion to have with you when out shopping for what to wear on your wedding day; it can also help ease pressure.
Just a little friendly warning, make sure the friend you have chosen to help in your bid to look beautiful is not one of your boyfriends old flames.

When someone decides to select and buy their clothes online they are opening up the doors to a wide world of choices that include the latest fashions, hard to find pieces and discounted rates. Avoid the rush and discomfort of shopping at a mall by shopping at home and spend more time relaxing with family and friends. If you have a formal engagement coming up, don’t hit the shops and elbow your way to the perfect top in your size. Choose online for the latest styles and colors with a large stockpile of your favourite size.
Finding clothes to it your body perfectly can be quite daunting. There are so many things to consider that includes fabrics, colors, styles, cuts and contouring. It can be quite easy to finding a perfect outfit by sticking to some simple rules. Don’t get caught out by what your friends think when you are trying clothes on, they may think they are doing good but they won’t be the one spending vast amounts on clothes that may only be worn once. Trust your own instinct and listen but don’t base your decisions on the advice of others. To ensure you have a great shopping experience while on the Internet, we recommend the following tips. If you feel comfortable wearing heels, choose shoes with a 1inch heel and notice how dramatically taller and slimmer you appear. Get you bra refitted every few years to ensure your bras fit comfortable and won’t cling or hang from you. Underwear shouldn’t be tight or too loose; this can create unwanted lines and make your clothes hang incorrectly. When creating a wardrobe select the clothes that favour the shape of your body and build your style around these cuts, fabrics and colors. If you have wide shoulders avoid boatneck tops otherwise this shirt can be used to accentuate a bustline or contour the waist.
Handbags and accessories are another issue altogether. With such a variety of sizes, colors and styles there is always that wide belt or large handbag to flatter shape. Clothes should always fit with the accessories but not always be too matching as this can create a bland look. If you don’t like accessories brushing against your body, go for a strapless handbag. Belts can be used to contour waist. Rather large belts can cut the body in half, avoid this look if you think it is unflattering. The latest fashions are not always best. There are so many color, cuts to consider and they won’t fit you everytime. Choose selectively or buy clothes that resemble clothes you already have. Colors are a great way to show off or hide parts of the body. Bright clothing can attract and are great as a top to highlight a favourite asset. The same applies to dark colors; these can be used to flatter your bum or waist. Create a look that will leave a lasting impression by mix and matching the fabrics of your clothing while keeping the color the same shade. This creates a funky look that won’t be bulky or uncomfortable. Remember to avoid clingy or baggy clothing, as these will distort your figure.
Keep these tips in mind when you are next browsing the online shopping sites. Have an eye out for clearances and sales but be ware that they are on sale for a reason. Create a look that is timeless and practical rather than expensive and ‘gotta have that now look.’ Select your clothes online, draw up a wishlist then step instore for fast shopping or order online for convenient and fast delivery straight to your door. Shop around to be sure you have value for money as many stores have similar styles at a cheaper price.

Menopause commonly occurs when a women stops ovulating and her periods ceases. Most women reach menopause between 45 and 55 , with an average age around 50. But some reach it before 40, which is known as premature menopause or premature ovarian failure.
The first thing to note about menopausal symptoms is that there is a surprisingly long list of them, and that no list is really comprehensive, because every woman experiences menopausal symptoms in an individual way. Hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, a decline in libido and changes in the menstrual cycle are very common menopausal symptoms, but there are many others. Some very fortunate women experience these symptoms only mildly, or not at all, while for others the menopause phase can prove a very challenging stage in life
Emotional and mental symptoms are also very common, and can be very distressing. These may include mood swings, depression, irritability, difficulties in concentrating, mental confusion and memory problems.
A decline in libido is another very common menopause symptom. This may be exacerbated by vaginal dryness, and a thinning of the skin around the cervix, which can make intercourse uncomfortable.
Hormone Replacement Therapy HRT has been the standard of care for menopause for women since the 70’s. In fact, more than 47 million women every year receive prescriptions for this treatment. However, in recent years this form of treatment has come under attack as it is being thought that it causes an increase in heart disease.
For women who are fearful of HRT as a course of treatment for menopause, there are other means of treatment. The most popular forms of alternative treatment involve the use of plants and vitamins to suppress the symptoms of menopause.
